Three in the Bed

What I woke up to this morning...

Other than gatecrashing the bed, Basil has been mostly sleeping:

He's also been enjoying some delicious milk:

That's about it. I'm coming back as a cat in my next life.

Sunday 24 August 2014

Daisy has been found!

Managed to get herself shut in a garage a couple of doors down, poor little thing.

Panic over!

Normal service will resume shortly, a update on Basil tomorrow, promise.

Daisy is missing. Please help!

One of our neighbour's cats has gone missing this weekend.

Her name is Daisy. She's about a year old, black and white, a very petite fine-featured face, but rather plump in the body (if I'm being honest).

Missing from the garden since yesterday afternoon, in Bishop's Stortford, Herts. She wasn't wearing a collar at the time.

This is a long shot I know, but please comment if you may have any info.

Where is my BBQ?

We had a BBQ this weekend. Here's Basil waiting for his:

I'm going to lie here and sulk like this until I get BBQ...

Ok, seriously, where is my BBQ?

Other than begging for BBQ, Basil has been sleeping:

And hiding in the proof press:

Guest Stars: Star and Gimli!

These handsome devils are Star and Gimli. They belong to a friend of mine, Emma, who has 2 other cats called Merry & Pippin (Star kinda messed up the LOTR naming-spree). They are Norwegian Forest cats (...I think), hence the amazing fluffiness. Gorgeous!

Star:

Gimli:

I kinda feel like Gimli looks a bit like John Rhys Davies actually?? Or maybe I just need some more sleep.

Lazy Sunday

We've been having a pretty lazy Sunday in this household. Basil included:

I'm sure he's earned it by working really hard throughout the rest of the week though...

Paparazzi

I've been taking Basil's picture in the garden today. It's difficult for him, because he finds this tedious, but he also loves the attention. He's never quite sure how disinterested he ought to look.

That's enough mummy, I'm hiding from you now. Go away.
